Antique OAK 17th Century Wooden Storage Carved Trunk MULE Chest COFFER with DrawersAntique MULE Chest This is an antique solid OAK heavily carved Mule chest. This has 2 drawers which have been restored at some stage as backs have been replaced. It has intricate detailed carvings depicting the Tree of LIFE, common in this period. In good fair condition for age with slight damage on the right front as in the photos, also a handle missing on the left drawer. The hinges on the back are not a strap hinge but a loop and pin bent over.
