Sd.Kfz 184 Elefant Super-Heavy Tank DestroyerThe Elefant heavy tank destroyer was the result of a series of upgrades and modifications to the earlier Ferdinand type. Based on unused prototype chassis for the Tiger programme, the Elefant was five tonnes heavier than its predecessor, and boasted thicker frontal armour and wider tracks. Capable of destroying virtually all Allied armour and long range, the Elefant never served in numbers, but proved extremely dangerous when used correctly. Armed
