Grateful Dead "From The Vault" Emerald Variant Blotter Art SetIn the summer of 1995, artists Mikio Kennedy and William Giese were working with Arista Records to produce artwork for an ad campaign that would announce hi fidelity releases of some of the Grateful Dead's finest shows. These "From The Vault" releases were to be a "first of a kind" series of fan favorites released from never before shared soundboard recordings. As the artwork was progressing, Jerry Garcia died. The project came to a screeching halt as
