Sonchus canariensisTree Sonchus: Tall, upright growing, semi evergreen shrub or small tree to 6 8' tall with unusual 12 18" long deeply cleft pinnate, fern like leaves. In the springtime, massive 4' wide lemon yellow dandelion like flowers rise above the foliage on stout stems. Second bloom in summer is not unusual. Full sun to part shade. Drought tolerant once established. Attracts bees and pollinators.
