The Industrial Age by Elsi Vassdal EllisThis summer I began a series using whatever materials available in my studio. This is the first in the Waste Not Want Not & Use What You Have series and the first in the Monochrome series. A word list on the industrial age was created, art in drawers collated and the printing evolved on 33 12x18 sheets of Construction Grout Gray. Once the backgrounds were completed, the sheets were cut down to 6 x 6 inch squares with type and additional images added.
