Castle Stalker, ScotlandCastle Stalker sits on its small island in Loch Laich like it was grown from the rock itself. A four storey tower house from the 1400s, built by the Stewarts of Appin, and still remarkably intact after six centuries of Scottish weather. I made this photograph at low tide, when the foreshore drains out and the loch bed becomes a mirror. The castle's reflection holds perfectly in the shallow water, broken only by dark seaweed covered rocks scattered
