Carved Angel With Cornucopia Pricket Candlestick c.1680 and LaterAn animated Northern Italian carved and polychromed Angel carrying a cornucopia pricket candlestick. c. 1680 and later Polychrome painted and carved with marbling to the pedestal base. The Angel is dressed in soft red drapery with blue underskirt holding blue and metallic green cornucopia which doubles as the pricket candle holder. The Angels expression is one of adoration and serenity. With old repairs, knocks and nibbles consummate with age.
