Polychromed Dancing Putto c.1680A charming polychromed Putto figure. c. 1680. The dancing naked Putto is depicted with one hand raised and the other cupped. Imagined and created with abundant flowing locks and a jovial expression with rosebud lips. This fine and larger than usual example of a late 17th Century Putto is exquisitely carved and has a large amount of original flesh coloured polychrome adorning his wooden body. Later mounted on a rustic block.
