This bear had found a comfortable spot among the dark coastal rocks and was completely out for the count. Head draped over the boulder like a pillow, eyes shut, not a care in the world. The yellowish staining on the fur suggests a recent meal, which probably explains the contentment. I love the contrast here between the white fur and the dark angular rock. The soft, overcast light
