BSC Young Boys 1981 - 83 Retro Football ShirtThe period from 1981 to 1983 represented solid if unspectacular times for BSC Young Boys. Under coach Bert Theunissen there was a mix of top six finishes, but outside the European places, and a mid table Nationalliga A campaign in 1983 which led to a management change. Roland Schnenberger and Franz Peterhans were a reliable sources of goals in these years while leadership came from long serving keeper Walter Eichenberger until his retirement in 1982.
